#SochiProblems (With Furniture!)

With the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics now underway, we can hardly wait to watch all of Team USA's athletes compete in their events. But with all of the hype and excitement, there is surely going to be a few problems.

In Sochi, it seems that many journalists, athletes and tourists are having a lot of problems, with furniture that is! A twitter account called @SochiProblems surfaced this week. This account retweets and posts a bunch of pictures of some of the issues that people are facing while in Sochi, Russia.

Here is a photo from @SochiProblems. This is where a journalist is staying while covering the Winter Olympics. Although it looks very dull and boring, atleast it has a bed (unlike some Sochi rooms we have seen!).


Here is a tweet from Jian Ghomeshi, a Canadian broadcaster. The most surprising aspect of his tweet is that he has no furniture in his hotel room. Apparently whoever was in charge of making sure there was furniture in the hotel rooms did not do a good job! You should call us, Jian!

Check out this picture from Mark Connolly (a popular Olympic Broadcaster) showing the mess that was outside of his apartment! You can see a bunch of plastic and hundreds of coat hangars! It looks like the buildings in Sochi have a very different decorating style! 

 Holy moly! What do you think of this picture from Harry Reekie, CNN Sports Producer (@HarryCNN)? Should we send some of our furniture to help out Harry? His room needs a makeover, pronto!

Apparently, this is a picture of where the Canadian hockey team is going to be staying during their time in Sochi. Will hockey players even be able to fit on one of those twin beds (or cots!)? They should have came to Kensington (we could have shown them our King sized beds!).
